What was the highlight of HOTEL MYSTAYS Nishi Shinjuku

Wonderful

The hotel was clean and located at the quieter side of shinjuku. Even though we arrived at 12pm, we were allowed to check in! We got the superior twin room so that we have more space for 2 of us and the extra nook was very helpful! There was a nespresso machine (did not expect it) and an ice dispenser at L4 as well! Perfect if I wanted to make a cup of ice coffee before heading out. There is a 7 11 and lawson very close by along with some eateries - ichiran, kura sushi, sushiro to name a few and uniqlo, donki within walking distance as well

Trade off that it is a slight walk from shinjuku Station and we got lost trying to navigate from and to shinjuku Station but I think that happens to many given shinjuku Station was like a maze.

Wonderful

Our room is small but feels very cozy. Staff speaks good english and very helpful. Walking distance to train station and good restaurants.

The pillows are not as soft as we wanted but manageable.

Overall, it was a good hotel and I recommend this hotel.

The location was great, and the hotel was very neat and clean. The staff were polite and friendly.

The breakfast could be way better if cheese and corn flakes were included, these are more closer to international taste.

Good

Cleanness, Polite and helpful staff. Location location and location. 2 minutes to 7-Eleven and other grocery stores and restaurants. All Shinjuku attractions are within walking distance. , 5 minutes to the train station.

The breakfast was not as I expected. There is a graveyard just next to the hotel, for those that might be important. The room was relatively small, but it is Tokyo!

Great Location, and Clean Hotel with Complete Amenities

The hotel is really nice, also in a nice quiet location. A bit out of the busy streets which is just what we're looking for. The room was a bit small, hard to open our luggages, but the beds were comfy and the amenities were complete. The room was clean and clean towels were provided. The sockets were enough to charge my gadgets and the light switch beside the bed was convenient. The entrance was closed when we arrived, not sure if we just went to the wrong side or was it because we arrived quite late. But we eventually found the other elevator nearer to the driveway to their parking on the other side of the block. Reception was great. Check-in was a breeze. And they went out of their way to help us with phone inquiries and bookings for our trip to Shiojiri, which is not even in the same city. Kudos to the reception team for going out of their way to assist us! They also assisted in making arrangements for luggage delivery to our next hotels. The team was on top of their game. The reception person at night wasn't too fluent with English but he made extra effort to communicate with us despite this. This really made our trip pleasant and our stay comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would definitely come and stay here again as the area is quite convenient and the hotel is clean and safe. There are also several train stations nearby namely, the main Shinjuku station and also Shinjuku-nishiguchi Sta. We mostly walked on the street to the main JR Shinjuku station which was quite convenient as well. Many nearby restos like the famous Ichiran, Kura Sushi and Gyukatsu Motomura. Omoide Yokocho was also nearby, and the bigger shops like Bic Camera, Odakyu, etc.

Better frontage or main entrance facade for their hotel. Both of the entrances looked like a garage entrance rather than a hotel entrance :-)

What was the highlight of HOTEL MYSTAYS Nishi Shinjuku

All in all a good place to stay.

The room was big for Japanese standards in downtown Tokyo and was well fitted with all the necessary appliances. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel location in the Nishi-Shinjuku area was convenient for the subway and the JR lines. It was also a short walk from the Shinjuku shopping areas.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at Tokyo.

All the staff at reception were pleasant, polite and very helpful. They helped us to the best of their ability. Requests made were fulfilled. Our suitcases arrived safely in Osaka. We are thankful for having staff like that. Thank you.

The space within the room was very tight. The original room rate was SGD166 but it changed to SGD200 during reservation. There is nothing that I didn't like about the hotel.
